You can now get years of Botox-like benefits with only one GFX™ treatment!
Dr. Brett Kotlus of Allure Medical Spa is the first physician in the state of Michigan to offer FDA approved GFX™, a breakthrough, longer-lasting alternative to Botox. Dr. Kotlus was recently featured nationally in Cosmetic Surgery Times for his work with the GFX cosmetic procedure.
What is GFX™? GFX™ uses radio frequency to silence the nerves that cause frown lines, producing the same effect as Botox®, but with years of longevity. This radio frequency is the same technology that has been used in live-saving cardiology procedures for more than 10 years.

How does it work?
GFX™ uses a combination of technologies to precisely locate targeted structures, and then apply therapeutic energy. A low intensity stimulator allows for precise localization of the structure being treated. Following location, a specific dose of RF energy is applied to effectively silence a portion of the targeted structure. This application of a “nerve block” leads to a reduction or elimination of muscle action that is responsible for frown lines and wrinkles.
Who is it for?
This procedure is ideal for people who wish to minimize glabellar frown lines, the vertical creases between the eyebrows sometimes referred to as “elevens”. GFX™ is perfect for the person who wants a Botox alternative, has become resistant to Botox, or does not desire Botox injections every few months.
How long do the results last?
GFX™ results last for years, as compared to Botox, which lasts for months.
How many treatments are necessary?
Only one treatment is required.
Is it painful?
No. Local anesthesia is given to allow for a painless experience. Sometimes, mild sedation may also be used.
Can it be done with other procedures?
GFX™ can be performed alone or in conjunction with facial rejuvenation procedures such as eyelid lifts, brow lifts, and face lifts. |
